A little look into my studio and the process behind the paintings - the works in progress, the colours, the mess, and the quiet moments. This is where I experiment, change my mind, paint things over and slowly figure out where a painting wants to go.
For a long time, I painted in my bedroom, surrounded by everything else that made up my everyday life. In May 2026, I decided to move my painting into a studio. A space of my own, where I could give the work more room and let painting become a bigger part of my life.
The studio has become a place where I can slow down, experiment and spend more time with the work. It feels different from painting at home - more focused, more open, and somehow more mine.
For me, painting is as much about figuring things out as it is about making something finished. Having a space where I can do that freely has become an important part of finding my own voice and understanding what I want to say through my work.
I like being part of the whole process from the very beginning.
I measure and cut the canvas and when the painting is finished, I stretch it myself.
For me, the work isn’t just the painting. I like building it from the ground up and having my hands in every part of the process. It makes the finished piece feel much more like a real artwork that I made, rather than just something I painted.
